Along with ICBC, we’re doing everything we can to provide essential insurance services during these unprecedented times. There have been several important changes to how things are now being taken care of, with many items now being handled over the phone, through WebChat or through ICBC’s online forms. If you call or message us, please note that our contact volumes still remain high. Everyone at Coastal Community is committed to providing you with the essential services you need to keep you going.

Need to talk to one of our Insurance experts?

Our clients are being served by phone through our Relationship Centre (1.888.741.1010) and through WebChat (please note that call and WebChat volumes remain high).

Need to renew your driver’s license?

For ICBC Driver Licensing services, please call ICBC directly at 1.800.950.1498 or (250) 978.8300.

Need to renew your AutoPlan?

If your insurance is due to expire, please phone our Relationship Centre (1.888.741.1010) for assistance. You will need an email address and credit card, or be eligible for payment plans, to renew your AutoPlan.

Need to transfer vehicle ownership?

Please phone our Relationship Centre (1.888.741.1010) for assistance. You’ll need to email us a copy of the transfer paper and vehicle registration (a photo taken with your cell phone or device will work). New plates will then be mailed or couriered. Please keep your old plates to return to an insurance broker in the future.

Need to request a deferral of your monthly auto insurance payments?

To apply for a deferral for up to 90 days with no penalty, use ICBC’s online request tool or call 1.800.665.6442 to discuss options.
