It starts with your vote in our Board of Directors Election - from
March 6 to April 5, 2017.
Our member-elected Board of Directors is accountable to Coastal Community members for settng the vision and direction of the organization, and for sound financial decision-making. The Board makes decisions that affect the members, clients, communities and employees of Coastal Community Credit Union and its wholly-owned subsidiaries - Coastal Community Insurance Services (2007) Ltd. and Coastal Community Financial Management Inc.
The Expertise we are Looking for
The expertise we are looking for in directors is outlined in our Becoming a Director brochure. While all areas of expertise are important, the Board of Directors identified four particular areas that would further strengthen our Board competencies among the many that the Board possesses. These were identified in the Call for Nominations and are as outlined here>>
Candidates for Election to the Board of Directors
The eight candidates running for election were nominated by members of Coastal Community Credit Union and were qualified by the Nominating Committee. There are four positions available, each for a three-year term.
The candidates are presented in the same random order on all election materials. Information provided on the candidates has been submitted by the candidates themselves. The views and opinions expressed in the candidate information are those of the candidates and do not necessarily reflect those the official policy or position of Coastal Community Credit Union.
